The reader has an on-board antenna and works with variety of 13.56MHZ ISO15693 tags including, but not limited to Texas Instruments (Tag-It) and Philips (I-CODE SLI). Philips Mifare (ISO14443A) is not supported.

  • Powerful firmware enables read and write of any type 13.56 MHz RFID Tag (ISO15693)
  • If you dont use USB cable, need to use level converter to connect directly to PC (max232) or use APSX C-100 converter board. Power consumption 20mA at stand by, 50mA in fast mode (20 reads per sec.) under regulated 5V

Wire Connections

To connect the reader to your system, follow these guidelines for the wire connections:

RW110 Pin 1 (Ground) to C100 Pin 7 Ground
RW110 Pin 2 (RC) to C100 Pin 6 (RC)
RW110 Pin 3 (TX) to C100 Pin 5 (TX)
RW110 Pin 4 (5V-Regulated) to Pin 4 (5V-Regulated)
RW110 Pin 5 (not used)

If desired they can be soldered for more solid connection structure.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

USB Connections

USB option is available for this one. Check out accessories page. There is no power need when USB connection established.
